Our class teacher is Miss Vine. Our Teaching Assistants are Mrs Gili-Ross and Mrs Hinton.

Great Fire of London Immersion Day



Recently, the children attended a sports event at Hemel Hempstead leisure centre with other schools from the area. They participated in a carousel of events including cup stacking and target throwing.



In Design Technology this half term the children having been making their own felt pouches. They used running stitch to attach their two pieces of felt together.




As part of our annual Art Week the children made their own fruit face collages in the style of Giuseppe Arcimboldo.






Our class text this half term is Claude in the City. The children have been looking at different sights and sounds of the city. They made their own collages.




In Art the children have been looking at 3D maps. The children used a range of materials to construct their maps.




In RE this half term we have been looking at Incarnation and Advent. The children made their own Advent Wreaths and looked at the meaning of each of the candles.



Science this half term ...
In Science this half term we have been looking at keeping clean and healthy. The children looked at the effect that different liquids have on our teeth.



Our Food Week ...
As part of our Food Technology week the children made their own mini quiches. They spent time looking at the recipe and designing their own packaging.





Maths this half term ...
In Maths this half term our focus has been place value. The children have been looking at the value of the digits in two-digit numbers.
