Prospective Parents

We know how important it is to find the right school for your child and we encourage parents to visit the school prior to completing the Primary Admissions application form. Please ring the school office to arrange a visit.

The school is committed to ensuring that children settle into their classes happily. During the summer term prior to starting school, parents receive information about their child’s induction process. Other introductory meetings are also arranged to support the children in settling in successfully when they begin.

Children who start school in the middle of a year will have an introductory meeting with a member of staff prior to entry. Both parent and child need to attend these meetings.

Reception 2024 - 2025

For children born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020:

Applications for Reception 2024/25 open – Wednesday 1st November 2023

Application closing date –  Monday 15 January 2024

Allocation Day – Tuesday 16 April 2024

Parents/Carers to accept offer by – Wednesday 1 May 2024

Applications for Nursery 2024/25 open –  31st Jan

Application closing date – 28th March

Allocation Day – 22nd April

Parents/Carers to accept offer by – 30th April
