World Champion taught us- 'Practise Makes Progress'

Terry, a world scooter champion, did a fantastic assembly for the whole school, teaching us about FLEARNING – failing before we learn, and reminding us that it isn't 'practise makes perfect' but 'practise makes progress'.

After the assembly, Year 5 and 6 had workshops to build skills on a scooter. We all showed resilience and determination; we got back up when we fell; we listened so we could learn techniques and tips from the best; and we challenged ourselves even when we were nervous. It was a fantastic day!
