PSHE
Wellbeing Quality Mark Report
We are delighted to have been awarded the Herts for Learning Wellbeing Quality Mark 2022. During the accreditation visit, the children spoke so well about our school community - we are very proud of them and of our school! Please see the document above to view the report.
PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education) is learning to support children with acquiring the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to manage their lives. It is taught as a discrete subject but also overlaps into all other areas of the curriculum and develops the quality and attributes children need to thrive as individuals, family members and members of society.
The PSHE curriculum promotes spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development; prepares children for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life and promotes British Values.
At St Paul’s School we use the Jigsaw mindful approach to PSHE as one of our teaching resources. This includes six ‘Puzzles’ which fit into half-termly units of work: Being Me In My World; Celebrating Difference; Dreams and Goals; Healthy Me; Relationships and Changing Me. See the attached PDF documents to give further information about this scheme and RSHE (Relationships, Sex and Health Education).
